About Us

The London Laser Clinic is based in Central London. Most of our consultations and treatments are carried out at The Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth. This is one of London’s biggest and most prestigious private hospitals, and it is in St Johns’s Wood, a leafy area of the west end, just north of Harley Street and Regent’s Park. Other consultations and some treatments are in Harley Street, or elsewhere in London depending on the patient’s preference.

The Clinic was set up in 1996, to provide an expert laser surgery service in the area of Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgery, and Face Plastic Surgery. It was established on a blueprint of similar laser centres in the USA, which were visited by the founding surgeon, Mr Mike Dilkes, in 1995.

Over the years the surgical complement of the Clinic has grown, so that we now have 5 specialists, all days of the week (Monday to Friday) are covered. Each specialist has his own expertise within the areas covered by the clinic, from cosmetic surgery to cancer treatment. The clinic is linked to The London Head and Neck Centre, The London Facial Plastic Surgery Clinic and The Royal Brompton Hospital. Non-ENT associated consultants and specialists are a vital part of the multi-disciplinary service, from plastic surgery to orthodontics and respiratory / sleep specialists, to radiotherapists and speech therapists, allowing us to provide a full multidisciplinary service in all the areas we cover.

All of our specialists are fully trained and accredited in the UK. They are full members of their regulatory bodies, and are all covered by one of the main medical defence unions. They all work in central London Teaching Hospitals and are recognised as leading specialists in their own field.

Our aim is to be completely transparent regarding pricing, therefore all of our costs can be found in the relevant section of the site. Our doctors are all recognised by the UK and relevant international medical insurance companies, we will always try to help patients claim for the full cost of their consultation, investigations and treatment, when possible.
